For one of the biggest networks of pharmacies in Poland we have prepared the strategy for the functioning of the ZIKO for Health foundation, developed the content as well as layout of the “Czas na Zdrowie” (“Time for Health”) magazine, organized sector conferences as well as got involved in media relations as well as PR activities.
Task
ZIKO pharmacies are patient-oriented, and this is why our aim was not only to strengthen the fidelity and recognition through image activities but also to enhance social consciousness and education outside of the space of the pharmacy.
The patient is the most important!
A lot of Poles, apart from their trust in pharmacists, do not follow their advice while taking medicines and are not aware of the dangers connected with irresponsible self-treatment. Being aware of the importance of this issue, we have prepared comprehensive strategy for the establishing and functioning of the ZIKO for Health foundation, the main objective of which is to limit the phenomenon of self-treatment, promote education and health protection. Our activities began with the organization of the conference inaugurating the functioning of the foundation and TVP3 Kraków TV station was one of the invited guests.
Building media presence
We were providing media services for ZIKO pharmacies as well as supporting such activities of the foundation as “Mobile Health Month”. The action took place in several dozen towns and cities all over Poland under the auspices among others of the Medonet portal, Gazeta Wyborcza and Dziennik Zachodni daily newspapers as well as Newsweek magazine.

We are taking the initiative
We have developed the concept, branding as well as scenario of the PharmLab 2016 conference, in which Krzysztof Łanda, Deputy Minister of Health, among others took part. We were supervising the event both from the organizational point of view as well as in connection with media services, obtaining the patronage of the Commissioner for Patients’ Rights. The conference inspired the discussion on pharmaceutical law in national media, which quoted, together with the Minister, the opinion of Jan Zając, CEO of ZIKO pharmacies.
The activities resulted in nearly PLN 230 thousandAVE in as short as 2 months.
Custom publishing buildsfidelity
We were responsible for developing the content as well as layout of the “Czas na Zdrowie” (“Time for Health”) magazine distributed in ZIKO pharmacies as well as ZIKO Dermo points. We have adapted its layout and content to the target group – people aged 50+, thus creating an efficient tool for communication and health promotion as well as building long-term positive relationships with the clients.
Active social media channel
We were involved in planning and implementing precisely targeted advertising campaigns as well as managing the ZIKO Beauty and Health profile on Facebook, reaching with our engaging content over 40 thousand active users.

Increasing health awareness together with CSR activities have built the expert image, enhanced fidelity and recognizability of the ZIKO Apteka pharmacy network among thousands of Poles.
